Electrical Services

Our technical knowledge and experience allows us to provide specialised services in the following areas:

Cable Management Systems

To carry the cabling throughout the electrical installation we can construct and install a cable management system to cater for all cable types in steel, upvc and aluminium. From tray, basket and trunking systems to conduit and dado/skirting trunking and underfloor systems we can install the system right for your business.

Power Distribution

From a single 13A single phase socket outlet to a 63A three phase isolator and beyond, Aspen can provide the power you require where you need it.

Sub Metering and Monitoring

Solutions Part L2 (Conservation of Fuel and Power) now places an obligation upon those constructing a new building, or significantly changing an existing one, to comply with certain energy efficiency requirements. One of these requirements is that sub-metering is installed to measure at least 90% of a building's energy use. Aspen Electrical have already extensively researched this relatively new building regulation and can advise you on how to comply with your electrical installation. The BRE have published guidance document GIL065 which offers excellent guidance for those specifying sub-metering systems.

UPS & Standby Power Systems

Computer Rooms need continuous, consistent reliable power supplies. The integrity of the data they hold is crucial to the success of every business. As such, it’s essential that the electrical supply that powers critical systems is always clean and reliable; otherwise the result could be costly downtime and possible data corruption or loss. At Aspen Electrical we will help you identify the most suitable solution along with any cabling, switchgear or circuit protection; taking the uncertainty out of Standby Power.

Design

From an initial meeting with you and site survey (if appropriate) we will design a system to meet your requirements. We use the latest electrical design software and can produce CAD drawings for initial design proposals that will eventually become ‘as fitted drawings’ in the O&M Manual.

LV Distribution Equipment and Protective Devices

From the electricity meter position on we can supply and install the distribution equipment with the capabilities to meet the requirements of your electrical installation whether it be three phase or single phase systems.

Lighting & Lighting Control

Lighting is often the single most important factor in a room yet it is frequently overlooked. Good lighting is about altering perceptions of light and space, creating focal points and enhancing features, and creating moods or enabling tasks. It’s much more than just ensuring that the light level is adequate or incorporating a striking light fitting into an interior design, although both of these can be important. These days it is also about being energy efficient. At Aspen we work with leading lighting manufacturers and their design teams to create the right scheme for you and your employees. As part of each and every design we will incorporate Emergency Lighting as either integral or stand-alone units to comply with BS5266.

Data & Communications

Whatever your need, from a single outlet to hundreds of outlets, Aspen Electrical will deliver a standards compliant solution of the highest quality. Whatever the solution demands, copper or fibre optic, the installation will be fully compliant with all relevant standards.
